What is the retry scenario for custom azure aware plugins?

I have a custom azure aware plugin that is posting the context to an azure service bus. If it fails during that post for some reason, does CRM have an inbuilt retry mechanism? If so how many times does it try to retry the post? Are there any best practices around this from a CRM standpoint?

According to msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg334766.aspx the plugin will retry automatically - but if not you could use the technique I describe here- develop1.net/.../Control-Async-Workflow-Retries.aspx

    Hope this helps,

Similar question here. Is there a way to write custom active-passive replication logic (primary queue, secondary queue)?
