I am trying to setup the Advanced Security with Account Level Security. I do not want accidently lockout the sa user when do this. Does sa user always have total access to GP 2010, not matter what the security.

To ensure that a user has unlimited access to all the accounts, on the user setup window click on the hierarchy button next to the user id field,
Checking the "Grant access to all accounts" ensures that the user will have power access on all accounts
