Shopify connector: How to realize a Shopify shop that knows BC's multiple price lists?

Dear BC experts,

We are trying out the new Shopify connector from BC. We have a question about the use of BC's "Customer Price Groups" in relation to the Shopify connector.

Question: is it possible to have a Shopify shop that knows multiple price lists - one for each Customer Price Group in BC - and that applies those price lists correctly to logged in customers, so that each customer sees the correct prices? Before logging in customers would see the (usually higher) retail prices, while after logging in the wholesale customers would see their specifically agreed prices.

If yes, what do we need on the Shopify side to realize such a shop?
What kind of Shopify subscription would be needed (their "Plus" subscription is far too expensive for us), and / or what plugin would we need to install or create?

Background:
Shopify "as is" seems to offer wholesale functionality only with their "Plus" subscription.
There are numerous Shopify plugins, available from the Shopify appstore, that offer wholesale functionality for a (considerable) lower subscription price, but it is unclear to me if they will work with the new BC Shopify connector.

With best regards,

In this first version of the Shopify connector you can only have one price pr. shop pr. product.

So the work around with BC and the current Shopify connector would be to establish one Shopify shop pr, customer price group.

And that seems to be a limitation on the Shopify side and not on the BC side.

If you use Shopify, you can use an additional service to implement multiple price lists. I used transformagency.com. It recognizes any document structure and works with all popular formats, including xml, yml, xls, and csv. You will spend minutes working with suppliers' price lists, editing thousands of products simultaneously. All you need to do is select the marketplace or price aggregator for which you are creating a price list from the list, and the service will automatically bring it to the desired view.

    Hi Wolter,

I see this post is quite old now, but did you ever get a resolution on this? We are in the exact same predicament and the same requirement now as you.

    Kind Regards,
    Alex
