Euro currency Excel export

Does anyone know how to resolve the issue with the Euro symbol in GP 2013 Smartlist exporting to Excel as a Ç character instead of the € symbol? Our team is trying to sum these Smartlists once in Excel and this character change requires us to manipulate each line of detail back to a currency or number.

Found the answer in the useful .ini settings file. ExplorerFormatCurrency=FALSE

I am having the same issue. The ExplorerFormatCurrency=FALSE does not show currency symbol on export. Since we work in multiple currencies, is there a way to get excel to correctly show the € symbol?

We didn't take the issue that far. Sorry, I can't help you with how to get the symbol to export as well.
