how to enable currency selection on IV receipt screen?

Do you have the currency manager module? Is it set up?

yes, we have currency manager module, and it have been set up.
Then I am confused. We are also using currency manager, and the currency selection and change currency view buttons are both active on the receipt invoice entry screen (04.010.00). Right next to the "vcr" buttons at the top of the screen.

As per the standard you can't make multi-currency transactions under Inventory module. Since you can make a multi-currency receipts using Receipts/Invoice screen under Purchasing module.
