Terry from Microsoft has published the latest Tax Updates on the MS blog about one month ago:
the link for the 2013 CP Tax-update is in the post too.
I would disagree with that. Mainstream support refers to all modules in GP, Canadian Payroll included, and service packs and tax updates for both. Tax updates for Canadian Payroll will be available up to that end date, unless they bump it later but it won't be earlier if that is the end of support date. To verify that, take a look at what it says for GP 2010: Last tax update 10/13/2015 and end of mainstream support same date, and there was no year end tax update for GP 2010 last year for any payroll product.
thanks for the responses Jen...but Canadian Payroll support usually ends before Mainstream support...

Do you mean the end of life date? Or the most recent one that is available to install now?
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle?C2=641 is the lifecycle page for last date of main support etc. (which would be the last tax update for us too).
