Product replacement notification on sales order

I have a product that has been discontinued but has been replaced by another product.
We often also have replacement goods for spare parts sales.
In Business Central, how can I make a notification in a sales orders, that the seeded item has been replaced by another item.

Hello,

You may need to customize this function.

Otherwise, you can make use of the 'Work Description' to indicate the change of item and have the user archive the sales order for record keeping.
