Hi, so I have immigrated some ERP data into two custom entities ("sales", "salesDetails") and now my supervisor ask me to calculate some fields. So I need to synchronize these fields with the actual data (I think I'll do a Pogram in C # using excel to insert these values), and in the future when it's inserted | Updated rows that come from erp I'll use a workflow.

My question is the following suggests other approach??

Hi,

you may have seen this already, but you can define calculated and rollup attributes in Dynamics:

msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn817863(v=crm.7).aspx

there are limits to what you can do with them, but still.
