(Ribbon Workbench) Button to dynamically change title onclick

Hi experts,

I have added a stopwatch timer on my case form. I would like to add the functionality to "pause" and "resume" the timer onclick of a button on ribbon workbench. 

Now, instead of adding 2 separate buttons on ribbon workbench for pause and resume, I would like to add functionality so that when I click pause, the same button will change its label to resume. 

Can I do this on the ribbon workbench or any other way?

    Hi Jon,

    I don't think that there's a way to dynamically change the name of a button... social.microsoft.com/.../change-the-ribbon-button-text-crm-2011-online

    What you can do is, show/hide buttons based on the pause/resume value; this will make the irrelevant button go away.

    Go to settings>>Administration>>System Settings>>Service

    Check what statuses you have selected for PAUSE

    Now on your case form, check the values of 'Status' in your script and show/hide button
