Dear all,

Please explain lit in detail. In my extension if I am extending any page or any other object of base application then can I use same ID of my own object. As I am not getting any error. See this:

Page 55001  "My Customer List"

{

}

Page 55002  "My Table"

{

}

pageextension 55001 CustomerPageExt  Extends "Customer List"
{
}
I means when I m not getting any info/warning/error in pageextension. Is it right approach?

    Pageextension is a different type of object compared to Page.

    We cannot use same object id in combination of Type.

    In your case, we will get error if we create a page with 55001 again or pageextension with 55001.

    Thank you Mohana,

    its mean we cannot use same ID for same object Type but can use same ID for another other object.

    so, it means following should work?

    Page 55001  "My Customer List"

    {

    }

    Page 55001  "My Table"

    {

    }

    Page 55001  "My Customer List"

    {

    }

    Table 55001  "My Table"

    {

    }
