I have a situation and don't know where to look anymore.
Two different installation of dynamics GP 18.4 and 18.5
Two different custom app, sending different types of transaction, but getting the same situation error.
We are running the last update on E-connect service pretty sure everything is configured by the book.
I have the situation in both since we upgrade.
We send a transaction to GP via our custom app.
The app is hanging until we reach the Econnect timeout.
While the app is hanging, nothing else can use Econnect.
As soon we start the program I can see in the SQL Profiler, the query getting executed to get the error message for TaErrorCode.
The same application was receiving the error message prior to migration.
Can anybody help find out where to look.

I was just going to add, sometimes in the 'eConnect' log in Event Viewer, it may add some information in there that may help, if you haven't already tried looking there.
