Is it possible to refresh dynamically an extracted excel file ?

Posted on by 405

Hello everyone,

Do you know if its possible to refresh dynamically an extracted excel files , for example, i have 800 orders i extract the 800 orders to an excel files.
I have added 10 more orders the next day in the orders entity , is it possible to refresh the extracted file to get the new added orders without having to extract a new file from dynamics.

Best regards.

What does the contract milestone screen look like in advanced find?  On mine I have export, is it greyed out, is it missing entirely?  Can you post a screen of that entities advanced find please?

The only entity who doesnt give me the possiblity to export the datas is the "contract milestones" view

Are you online or onprem?  I found this forum with a similar issue if its onpremise.  I would see if the button is in your advanced find

Great , thanks you Mike Hastings. Do you know why the billing milestones view doesnt give the possiblity to export the datas to excel please ? i wanted to achieve that especially for this view :(

I only have the possiblity to "import from excel to dynamics" :

Its included, you can do that from Advanced Find or anywhere you see an Export to Excel button.  Just pick Dynamic instead of Static on the option.

This is for onprem, but its the same idea, have you tried exporting a dynamic list and then doing the refresh button?
