Hi All
Is there a way to dictate the UOM measure of a Warehouse Pick? For example sales order has EA but pick list created in BOX?
I have the same question (0)

It looks like you are looking for a consolidation process that groups smaller UOM into larger ones.

BC allows the opposite with Breakbulk which breaks a large UOM into smaller ones during the pick process.

You will need an extension for that, something along the lines of tote picking or a licence plate.

These extensions are compex so a process change might be a better option:

    1) Start selling in boxes, not eaches.
    2) Set the base unit of measure in Boxes and keep selling in eaches (Won’t work with full WMS, also rarely recommended)

An alternative could be using assembly boms. With Assemble to Order you can sell in eaches and assemble in boxes for picking.

    Hello,

In standard Business Central, you cannot dictate a different Unit of Measure for Warehouse Picks than what’s on the source document. A Warehouse Pick always inherits the UOM from the Sales Line, so if the sales order is in EA, the pick will also be in EA—there’s no setup to force picking in BOX while selling in EA. The only standard way is to set the Sales Line UOM to BOX (with proper Item Unit of Measure conversion), or change the pick manually after it’s created. Anything else would require a customization.
