Hi all,

We are facing very frequently issue in number sequence/ voucher series. Accounts Payable->Journals->Vendor payment journal has voucher series in Journal Lines i.e. LedgerJournalTrans.voucher.

Here in this voucher series every now and then it is getting duplicated.

Following below are some of our number sequence settings:

1. Format: TRP-#####

2. Continuous: Yes

3. Clean up: No (Here we remove this checked option after facing this duplicate issue but still no effect)

Just remove the continuous check mark(Don't make it manual also) it will not come duplicate for you. As per the structure of the number sequence.

Normally it doesn't happens.

Hi Mirza,

What value you have selected in New voucher field under Journal names form? Is it 'In connection with balance" or Manual or One voucher number only?

Hi Mirza,

The new voucher number is generated based on the settings in Journal names form. What value have you specified there. There are three options as I mentioned above.

It should give you. But it depends upon another setting also that Baber has mention. Check that also.

In connection with balance it means that voucher shouldn't create new voucher number unless your voucher balance is zero. May be you have selected one voucher number only that may cause repeating number sequence.

So the new voucher number will only be generated for new line when balance is zero. Did you get my point?
