I have a customer request to implement a (batch) function in D365 to change the site and warehouse for a selected range of sales orders.
The reason/process is the following:
the customer has got two sites
they create sales orders with a dummy site/warehouse because at the time of creation they don't know yet, where it's going to be produced and delivered from
after sales order creation, they look at the sales orders and perform production capacity planning and then allocate the sales orders to site 1 or 2
in the current ERP system they have got a function to mark the sales orders and then allocate them accordingly
