Issue: An account set as Spot is translating to a USD amount despite correctly reporting the zero YTD EUR balance.
I have run across this issue with a couple of accounts in two companies so far as I work through translating for the move from FRx to MR.
The B/S account is in a EUR functional company and is set as Current.
In 2009 it has a balance and translates correctly at the year end spot rate.
The amount is reclassed in 2010 leading to zero balance in the account.
MR correctly shows zero as the YTD EUR amount, but it shows a USD amount which would be the previous balance times the correct 12/31/2010 spot rate.
I have tried checklinks, rebuilding the Data Mart, temporarily changing the translation account type from Current to Average. None of these things work. FRx translates correctly; no surprise.
It is so odd, that the other ‘Current’ accounts translate correctly. Is this a known issue?
