Will contacts in journey still receive emails after the journey end?

Does anyone know if contacts who are already in a journey after the journey's end date elapses will continue receiving the emails in that journey?

An example to illustrate what I am asking:
 
I've set my segment based journey to start on 1 Jul 2024 and journey end as 31 Jul 2024. 
I have 2 emails in my journey, where the 2nd email will be sent 1 month after the 1st email. 
I have a contact who enters the journey on 15 Jul, so they have received email 1. Email 2 is meant to be sent to them on 15 Aug, but my journey ends on 31 Jul. So will this person receive email 2? 
 
Appreciate any help!!
