Recently I installed the quality update Version: 10.0.22 (10.0.995.118) on the sandbox environment(Test environment). Later I've added another package to it and marked it as a release candidate in order to update the production environment. When i checked the features list on the feature management form( Dynamics 365 Fin & Op), I noticed that the features treated in the quality update, installed on the test environment, were added to the production. Furthermore, when I checked the updates available for the production environment in LCS, I found out that the quality update Version: 10.0.22 (10.0.995.118) was installed automatically on the production environment along with the package that I've marked as a release candidate on the test environment.
So my question is :
Today with Self-service environments you're not promoting a package to production, instead you're promoting the whole UAT application (including Microsoft version and your customizations).
