Inactive View for Custom entity - Quick Search

Have a client who created a custom entity and the Inactive view has 100 or so records in it.  When user searches the inactive view by Serial No., it pulls in Active records.  Other than training users to use Adv Find, is there another way that they can search Inactive Views (within the View itself) and only see those Inactive records in the results?

    Hi

The article suggested previously is a very good solution, however if you didn't want to make this change another option would be to use the alphabet at the bottom of the Inactive View. This does depend on how the serial number is formatted though as it could still be a long list, but would be simple for users to follow and can also be applied to other inactive record views.

    Hope that helps

    James

Remove status filter in the Quick find view of custom entity. Try to search a record.
