We print about 1000 invoices each week. They use to print in Numeric and Alphabetical order. (i.e. IVC0700001111 AJAX, IVC0700001112 BEAN, IVC00001113 BURN, etc...)
Suddenly, the past few weeks, they have been printing in Numeric only order. (i.e. IVC0700001111 DAWN, IVC0700001112 XEROX, IVC00001113 CORD, etc...). The customer names are all over the place. What could have changed that and how do I fix it?

Sorry, the invoice numbers are all the same. I simply mistyped them in my example.
The sort order is by Document Number.
The data for the invoices is imported from a third party software. We run a transfer process that magically creates the invoicing batches. I have tried to tell them that the issue is on their side but they insist it's Dynamics. I will go back to them and press harder. I don't think there is an answer on the GP side. I apologize for wasting your time. Thank you for the help anyway.
I am not aware of any option that control the sort order for printing invoices but just out of curiosity, if you click on the lookup for invoice number, what sort order is being used there? I am wondering if SmartList may be controlling the order.

Actually, looking at your invoice numbers they are of different lengths. What order are you expecting? How are these invoices generated? Are they imported?
Thanks for the quick reply Richard. We print from the Invoice Batch Entry window (Transactions, Sales, Invoicing Batches) and print an entire batch of invoices at one time.
Are you printing from this screen? Did you change the sort order? How do you print your invoices?
