Can you require a certain amount of characters on a field?

I know we can set character limits but is there a way to set a certain amount of characters a field must have? For example if an ID number is 5 digits can I set the field that it requires 5 digits so that it won't allow saving with anything more or less than 5?

Hi,

You can set the min require length to any field using the JavaScript. there is no OOB feature available for this.

You can do it in 2 ways. First one is to set limit in field properties. Second way is Javascript.
