error: Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client has stopped working

Hi everybody,

This error has given me a headache for 4 days and i have not found a solution yet. One of the users that is using Nav 2013 R2 Client, suddenly can not open the program and the error is "Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client has stopped working".

I have checked the license and it seems everything is ok, it has not expired and it has enough full users.

I have reinstall the Client and still the same. I have tried to login with another username and still the same.

The system is Windows 7, 32 bit, but the user has worked for a couple of months at this computer.

I really do not know what to do.

Can anyone help me please?

Thank you so much in advanced,

Edera

    Hi Edera,

Please check the Event Viewer on the client PC to check the error trace. Post the error trace here, so that we can see what has failed and from there we can carry forward.

    Hi Edera,

I checked your Event Viewer with a question on Mibuso. Please read the last answer of the thread, do try the option. Possibly a hot fix.
    Link: http://forum.mibuso.com/discussion/60425/nav-2013-r2-client-stopped-working-when-started-from-network

    Hope it helps.

This is not related to dynamics NAV license.  If the error still exists even after you reinstall the client, that means it is most probably related to Windows. Can you check the event log related to Dynamics NAV and post the trace in here so that we can get more details on this.

    hi friend ,

If this is effected with ur profile to change this u need  another super user access  permissions , log using your Super user ID or Emergency login

User Personalization ==> select your user ==> open it => change "Profile ID" to previously working set or keep it empty ,,,,
