what is the best- user friendly, mobile version available, cost effective - expense app for BC?
looking into continia and the reviews are grim....

Continia is cost effective and is in the BC solution directly. Zetadocs is a cloud service that integrates directly. Gorilla expenses is similar. Given the fact Continia is embedded into BC directly does mean adding extensions relating to it is possible. The others are exactly as they come out the box and enhancements are roadmap only.
Zetadocs Expenses can be used on all popular mobile devices, with both Android and iPhone apps available. A short video is available here: https://youtu.be/jf_l4Z11ytU.
