I've tried several MR 2012 installs. I tried upgrading our MR 2.0 installation and even tried a fresh install having MR2012 create a new database. When I try to run a basic report I receive an error stating "Operation could not be completed because doing so would create a bad reference". I looked in the Windows Event Viewer and found the following error:

Microsoft.Dynamics.Performance.Reporting.Common.ReportingReferenceException: The operation could not be completed because doing so would create a bad reference. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "Task_TaskType_Id". The conflict occurred in database "ManagementReporter2010", table "Scheduling.TaskType", column 'Id'. The statement has been terminated. I don't receive any errors during the install of MR 2012. Any ideas? I will keep "tinkering" on my own to see if I can get things working. Thanks for any information.

I discovered the problem. I had forgotten to install the Management Reporter Process Service during the initial install. Sorry for asking the question before I tried all the obvious solutions. Thanks.
