Hi Team,

I am able access 'GeneralJournalAccountEntryBiEntities' and 'GeneralJournalEntryBiEntities'  using Odata if I am Sys admin.

I am not able to access it if I am not sys admin , but I have roles - Data management administrator.

Is there any way , to access GeneralJournalAccountEntryBiEntities and 'GeneralJournalEntryBiEntities' without Sys admin role ?

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

Hi Sharon, I couldn't find these data entities, Are these standard or custom data entities?

Each data entity is linked with security privilege. If its custom data entity then you need to find/create security privilege. You can assign that security privilege to your required role to access the data entity.

    Thanks Mohit.

These are entities appearing in Odata after updating the version from 10.28 to version 10.32.

I can access them through Odata if I am sys admin

You are right, I can see this data entity in 10.0.32 environment. However, it is not linked with any security privilege. You can create custom privilege and add this Data entity. This can be done by Technical from visual studio and deployed to all environments or you can create new security privilege from Security Configuration form.

I created this privilege and added the data entity reference. (Path: System Administration-->Security-->Security configuration)

    Hi Sharon,

I checked these entities. They are indeed part of the standard application, model "Business Intelligence". Usually, when someone is creating a data entity, you would start with a wizard which is also generating related maintain and view privileges. In this scenario, all the entities are not backed with security privileges. I'm not sure if this is left out intended or not.

When you want to use these entities by someone not having the system administrator role, you can create new privileges and grant read access.
