Outlook Client - "We didn't find anything to show here"

Hi all,

I narrowed this down to a privileges issue, but have no way to test, nor anybody to test with.

Current Behavior:

In the Outlook Client, users with a custom role are able to view Views embedded in dashboards, but receive “We didn’t find anything to show here,” when attempting to view the same standalone views (by clicking the sitemap navigation button for two custom entities). This data is available for users with the System Admin role. The custom role has full organizational level access to the custom entities.  They are able to view the Views in CRM Online also. There are no additional filters on the view in Outlook. I attempted to adjust various permissions in the Research Admin role. I tried to refresh the data. I made sure the View Settings were the same as mine. The synchronization settings are same in both mine and the users who I tried to assist.

What makes this particularly strange is when exporting to Excel from a standalone view with no data, the data is populated in the Excel file.

Expected behavior:

Views have the list of records, not the “We didn’t find anything to show here” message.

Workaround:

Create another dashboard with the view(s) we want to see.

Thank you for your help and insight.

Best,

Blayze

Not sure how this really got resolved, but it did.

Only real change I made to this role was PrvShareActivity, along with a few privileges I enabled through my other post where I was unable to track Appointments in Outlook Client for the same role. See: community.dynamics.com/.../166501 for more information.
