Comments Button Missing AX 2012 R2 CU7 Enterprise Portal

The comments button available on timesheets in enterprise portal has seemingly disappeared with the upgrade to CU7. The button was available in all previous versions. Has anyone found a fix for this issue or found something similar? Timesheet comments ax 2012 r2 cu7 button missing

    please validate if you have any customization on timesheet,

    because that may be when you installed CU7, those customization got hidden

    I suggest you need to use compare tool and merge the customization.

    Please verify and update with your findings

    Hi Nitesh,

    We did not have any customizations on timesheet.  We compared all customised code during the upgrade successfully.  Nothing interacting with timesheets or enterprise portal.

    Any other recommendations?

    Is there a place to look at timesheets form for enterprise portal in AOT?

    Other thing what you can check is the Security specified to the user.

    May be consider looking into the Web user control if that button exists in the design mode.

    If there also you didn't find then may be we can say that, feature you are looking for is now not available in the timesheet.

    Hi Nitesh,

    We have confirmed the feature does still exist.  The logged in user has system admin access.

    We are currently running the AxUpdatePortal utility to update all EP components. This could potentially do the fix.  Will keep you up to date.

    Hi Dillonb,

    There are changes in the timesheet entry done compared to CU6. The button has been removed, the Internal and External comments are now at the bottom of the timesheet lines. Probably you have to unfold the Comments fasttab.
