Open CRM-generated Links in Dynamics365 Mobile App(IOS)

Hi there,

I would like to know if there is a possibility to open a link, which is generated by CRM through a workflow, on your phone(IOS Microsoft Outlook App) and that this link will directly guide you to the Dynamics 365 IOS App to confirm a opportunity?

Specific Details:

When a opportunity is almost closed, the salesmanager receives a link of the opportunity in his mail. If he select this URL, his phone(iPhone 6S or 7) will guide him to CRM Online in the webbrowser(safari). However, this screen is not user-friendly(business process flows, small screen etc.) This link is generated through a workflow. When he opens the screens, he just have to select one field(approval of sales manager).

Possible Solutions:

I already heard of the terms: 'Deep Linking'. Is this something that I can use?

Hi Diederik, thanks for reaching out.

Take a look at the link below. You will have to create a custom workflow to code the link correctly but it is possible with the new Mobile SDK. Let me know how far this gets you.
