edit in excel not loading data

I have a lot of companies setup and if I look in the my settings section I can list the companies within the allowed companies screen. There is an edit in excel button that exports the list. When I open the exported xl sheet there is no data in it.

Is this a bug?

    MS have replied that they feel the edit in xl should not be included in this screen and are therefore planing to remove the feature. I have asked them to fix the issue but disallow publishing as this would not make sense. Being able to download all the companies into xl is a useful option. They are considering this and there is no confirmation of how they will go on this point yet.

    Hi PhilD,

    Have you changed the layout of the page through extensions especially the pages using Global Dimensions?
    Because I had an issue where the data couldn't come in Excel and publish from Excel.
    I've reported to Microsoft and they confirmed it was a bug which will be resolved by next release.

    No. There is no bug in the exported Excel function. If your company name contains special characters, then the data will not load. Please, check your company name.

    Did you checked that , the list you are exporting have data in company or not?
