When I create 2 trade agreement lines for the same item with non-overlapping effective to & from dates, the journal posting is only pulling the last line / most recent date range. Example:
1) Item 1, Price 100.00, Effective from 6/1/2024 to 6/15/2024.
2) Item 1, Price 200.00, Effective from 6/16/2024 to 12/31/2024.
Posting:
Update the date on the project item journal to 6/15, 200.00 was applied to the line. Expected 100.00
I have the same issue for project sales hour prices, for which I created a MS ticket months ago. I am not 100% sure, but I think MS changed the way of caching the data, to improve performance. Unfortunately, that leads that an old price was found and pulled instead a newer one.
I would suggest to create a MS Ticket.
In order to solve your issue (more or less). Try if it works with Party code type "Table" or "Group". If group works, consider putting every customer to one group and create a new trade agreement.
I think it will work if you set posting date to 06/16 or 06/17. Its a nasty bug, but the impact is low imo.
