Move transaction showing in Bank Deposit Entry under wrong checkbook ID

Our credit cards were setup go to the Operating account in capital one. I went into the cash receipt entry window and selected Credit Card ID and was able to change the checkbook ID from in there.

So not the only issue I have is the one credit card transaction that I posted to the correct account but it’s sitting in the incorrect Bank Deposit entry.  I need to move the below to  our OPERATING 1st National account.

Thanks,

Doreen

    Hi Doreen,

The best way of change the checkbook ID of the transaction is voiding it and re-entering it.  I am assuming you changed the checkbook ID in credit card set up using credit card link in the Cash receipt window. However, this transaction might have been posted before you changed the checkbook id in the credit card.

You can void the cash receipt from the Posted Transaction window (Transactions >> Sales >> Posted Transactions). The cash receipt will be available in the list only if it is not moved to history
