Is CRM 2013 Online version compatible with Lotus Notes?

We are a CRM 2011 Online customer with Outlook 2010/Exchange 2010 mail integration.  With Outlook integration, my users like having choices of accessing CRM via one product or both, choosing which forms to use, etc.  We will be migrating from CRM 2011 Online to CRM 2013 Online, but at some point, we must also move from Outlook/Exchange to Lotus Notes.

Is CRM 2013 Online version compatible with Lotus Notes?  If so, which versions of Lotus Notes are compatible with CRM 2013 Online?

Is there a compatibility product available from Microsoft, or must we engage third-party vendors for Lotus Notes integration with CRM 2013?  Thanks.

    Hello,

Interesting that your organization is moving from Outlook/Exchange to Lotus (IBM) Notes. I have never actually seen that happen...it's always been the other direction in my experience. In fact, Notes market share has continued to decline over the years...but I digress...

Due in part to the above, there is no "native" integration between Dynamics CRM and Lotus Notes or Domino (the server end). Your choices are fairly limited. The two I am aware of are:

    1. LinkPoint360 - www.linkpoint360.com/.../linkpoint-connect-dynamics-notes-edition - provides Lotus Notes client integration with Dynamics CRM providing similar capabilities that you are used to with the native Outlook/CRM integration. In my experience this is the best client option available and is in use on thousands of desktops. LinkPoint provides support for CRM Online (as well as on-premise).

    2. Riva Integration Server or Riva Cloud - www.rivacrmintegration.com/.../ibm-notes - provides server level integration between CRM and Domino. Riva syncs CRM systems directly to IBM Domino on the back end. That means there are no IBM Notes plug-ins to install, configure, or manage on users’ desktops, laptops, or mobile devices. In this scenario, integration is administrator driven and rules are configured to determine what email/calendar/contact data is synced. Riva Integration Server and Riva Cloud both support CRM Online.

Hope this helps and good luck!

    Mike

    Hi Mike ,

We have similar solution for integrating Dynamics CRM and Lotus Notes. The name of the product is LincNotes. LincNotes has better client side interface compare to LinkPoint360. Please check www.lincnotes.com .

What about the latest server side synch options in 2013? Anyone succesfully configured Lotus Notes mailbox synch in Dynamics CRM 2013?

Please also consider the Lotus Notes Connector from MS Dynamics CRM - http://ienterprises.com/products/lotus-notes-connector/connector-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm.html

It is a hybrid solution with a client side UI as well as back end server synchronization.  It can be deployed for your whole organization by the admin without installing anything on the desktop.  It also works on MACs and it is from iEnterprises - winner of 20+ IBM / Lotus / CRM awards.

    THANKS
