Expense Allocation by using percentage from one company to multiple companies (Intercompany) in GP2013

Hi,

I would like to allocate expenses from one company to multiple companies through payable invoice by using fixed percentage or variable percentage. For eg: I have totally 10,000$, I want to allocate 30% from company A to company B, 20% from company A to Company C and 50% from company A to Company D.

I can't do it through intercompany transactions in payable invoice as I can only enter the amount to each expenses accounts of multiple companies instead of entering the percentage.

Please let me know if you have any workaround for that?

    I just had a look - you can't use allocation accounts in an intercompany transaction.  My only other thought would be an Excel based template that you can then use Integration Manager to upload.

    Don't know if it includes the feature, but Reporting Central may also be worth checking out:  reporting-central.com/the-allocator
