Corrective Credit Memo for Posted Sales Invoice - Not Working

Hello, 

I am trying to create a corrective credit memo in order to correct just the price that I have invoice to a customer. I won't be receiving the items back, I just want to change the price. 

I go to the Posted Sales Invoice - Correct - Create Corrective Credit Memo 

I get the following error message.

Can anyone help me?

    Your system is apparently set up with warehouse management. So then you have to create warehouse activities for the credit memo before it is posted or you could possible use a return order if that is configured in your system.

    Hopefully you will find some info here:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../sales-how-process-sales-returns-cancellations

    Or maybe you have some warehouse person that can assist you.

    Thank you so much for your response.

    I guess yes, because we are set up for warehousing we can't use that feature. The thing is that we don't want to receive the items back, we just want to correct the price. Therefor, we don't want to create warehouse activity or create a return order.

    I guess the solution for us is to create a Sales Allowance - Sales Credit Memo manually.

    Yes, try to create a manuel creditmemo against a G/L account. That will not effect your inventory.

    Then you should work on correcting your setup so the WMS is not interfering with your daily business.
