Non-Conformances Procedure

Dear Experts,

What is the best way (procedure) in AX to write off the stock due to damage or if there's a need to scrap the stock? I tried to use function in quality management to create new non-conformances , but I couldn't find the option to actually remove the stock from the system.

You can try inventory adjustment journal for this purpose.

Hi Prashant,

We thought about it too, but it must involve Quality procedure and in the right form - isn't there other way to remove the stock by creating non-conformance form ?

Dear Viz

Raise the Quarantine order and reserve the stock which suppose to be disposed off and generate the shipment from the quarantine order. Once the shipment is activated and comple, you can end the quanrantine order, which will dipose of (write off) the stock from the system.
