Run project status report

We have tried to run a status report for a project, but currently are no options available for that. (see screenshot)

Do you have the possibility to create a status report in your environment?

Are there some settings in backround we have to change or activate? How can we create a report in Project Operations?

    I think that you need to configure the Power BI reports.

    Hi Leon,

    Thanks for the information that you provided.  This is really good stuff, but it doesn't address the initial request (which I am looking for the answer as well) of what does the Status Report give you within Project Operations?

    Hi Leon,

    thanks for the answere - it helps a lot.

    I got some informations from colleagues that you can create a SSRS document (old way) or do it with Power BI. Microsoft don´t push these report features to export some data, supposedly they want to keep the user in the app and let them work with dashboards.

    Our solution will be - create a Power BI Dashboard.

    Unfortunately there are no Project Status reports in vanilla Project Operations. Some PPM apps available for Dataverse include that feature they would need to be installed on top of Project Operations.

    Hi Patrick,

    This is not tested as such and it is for PSA but PO has a lot of PSA parts in it.

    You can create a power automate that gets all the information required then push it to Power Bi.

    Not a solution as mostly needs to get built. hope it helps.
