Hi All,

I had generated a timesheet period for year 2020-21,i didn't notice that it is not auto splitted i.e timesheet are not completing at month end ,

i want Timesheets to end to complete at the end of month .When i am trying to split it is showing an error message 'cant be split because it is in use'.

How can i rectify that

.Thanks in advance

Rajat Agarwal

    Hello Rajat,

If the other timesheet period type is in use then you might have to create a completely new one that ends at month-end as needed.

When creating those new timesheets you will have to update the project parameters of your employees and assign this default timesheet period type in their project parameters form.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Rajat,

Ludwig is correct here. When the worker periods are created from the timesheet period definition, then the period is "in use". If no worker has created a timesheet for this period, there is an option to delete the worker periods and then the timesheet periods and recreate them. However, it is a tedious task.

    Hello Ludwig,

    Hope you are doing good.

To solve this issue i deleted the workers assigned to the required period then i split the period and again updated the worker periods..

    Thanks for your support.

    Regards,

    Rajat
