What's the best way to make a list of items + purchase lead times?

Hello,

We're using Ax 2012. What would be the best way to get a list of all the purchase items in our inventory, and the lead time setting for these items?

I know the purchase lead time can be specified on a lot of different places (trade agreement, item coverage, default order settings, ...) but what would be the best way to get a list of the Lead Time + the items?

I'd like to have a list like this, to be able to divide the items into meaningful coverage groups (where the coverage period = lead time + a margin of 10 days). And we have a lot of items (more than 10.000 I think).

Many thanks,

Adriaan

    Hi Adriaan,

You already stated there are several settings for a possible lead time. Which settings are you using? What would be your expectations? What is the purpose of this list? Just a report or something for integration purposes?

Hi André Arnaud, we're using the Default Order settings, mainly, but there might be some items that disgress.

The goal is to use this list as a basis for dividing the parts into meaningful coverage groups.

(With the period of the coverage group a bit larger than the item's lead time).

Yesterday, my colleague showed me how to access the hidden tables behind Ax, so we might be able to get a list from there.

(We got there by right-clicking the Lead Time field -> chosing "Personalize" --> Then copying the system name for the field, which was PurchOtherGrp_M_editLeadTime InventItemPurchSetup.editLeadTime() . This gave us the table name where to look up the lead times (being InventItemPurchSetup ).  )

    Hi Adriaan,

Are you able to compile your list with the information provided by your colleague?

Hi André, in the end we didn't have to make the list, but I'm guessing it would've worked.
