morning guys,
A customer of mines made a mistake and set the cost price in an item to 280000. she sold the item with the correct retail price but when she runs a sales report with margin and profit it shows the 280000 plus other items cost price..
how can this be removed from the system so it wont reflect the incorrect profit and margins

This is like an earlier question...
To see the sold price on the report make sure that column is not hidden. Do you mean it shows as sold at cost price? Then may be it is sold so.
As I understand, the sales report takes the cost price from the item as at the report time not as at transaction time. So if item cost is fixed it should show correct.
If one transaction is involved and voided as described on the previous question the sum would be right but individual transactions may still be there. Both sold and refunded. Finally... it is bad accounting to remove thinks better reverse with explanations.
