Add a custom exchange rate provider D365

I created a custom exchange rate provider using this doc https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/financial/create-exchange-rate-providers

But my problem is still can't add it to D365, as you can see in the picture below, there are only 3 choices with no option to add the newly created provider. I feel like the doc is either missing something or assume you have already read another document.

Hi,

Do you have this issue in a development environment or a sandbox? In case it is a development environment, did you perform a build of the full model and also started a full database synchronization?

Thank you for your response Andé. I'm using a sandbox. Does this mean I have to deploy an development environnement and need access? I'm not the one who deployed it and was only given access as a user and most of my manipulation has been through the interface.

On a sandbox, you don't need development access. Did you install a deployable package with the new exchange rate provider? Was this tested on a development or test environment?
