Hello,

I work at the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria who manage amongst a range of things the Royal Melbourne Show which incorporates the All Breed Dog Show and Horses in Action competition. We are heavily invested in Dynamics CRM to manage the entire competition life cycle.

Each competition day the dogs and horses arrive to pre-allocated benches and stables respectively.

We produce a map for each competitor showing where they are located for the day using Excel Power Maps which involves a data extract from CRM and import into Excel to produce the daily benching and stabling maps.

Would like some advice/recommendations on what Visualisation/Data Map tools might be more appropriate to provide a seamless option for producing these custom maps ?

I'd definitively recommend PowerBi for this.

If you're already using Excel, then one option would be to use either an Excel template, or dynamic worksheet from CRM and continue to use Excel.

Otherwise, PowerBI is the normal reporting / visualisation option
