Hello,
I have a case where I need to change the effective date in all positions. The date must be filled with the "Available for assignment" date.
I tried to do it with Data Management, but get an error:
Are there any ways, how could I mass-update the records? Maybe X++?

You can achieve via data management too. When you want to change the position details then earlier position needs to adjust based on new position.
For eg.
Position A : 01/01/2022 to 01/11/2022
Position B : 02/11/2022 to Never
In your case, the effective and expiration is same for the position and that does not work. Position tables are date effective. It means when you can this position manually in the system then it adjusts position dates accordingly.

Parag Chapre , thanks for the anwer.In Excel, there are two different positions and they're not related.My main task is to find a way to change the effective date value to the same as Available for assignment.
You can write the X++ code and make a date correction according to this link.
