Problems creating Plugin using Visual Studio 2015 with Dynamics 365 developer tools

When I right click on an Entity in the CRM Explorer window and select "Create Plug-in"  I get an initial error dialog window stating

"An error occurred while loading components from the Plug-in Registration tool".

When I close this dialog a second window pops up with the message.

"CRM Explorer ... Unable to load Plugin registration componets(sic). Please verify that the plugin registration tool directory is selected in the Dynamics 365 developer toolikt options page".

I have checked the directory path is set up correctly in the options page and have the latest version to the plugin registration tool installed ( via NuGet)

Would appreciate any help

    Hi

I just finished working on using plug-in and debugging.  I had may issues getting it to work correctly.

    1) Are you using the toolkit 2015.  If not create a folder on your c drive and call it crmsdk2015.

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    2) Is your VS mapped to the toolkit 2015  (crmsdk2015)

    VisualStudoSetup.JPG

    3) Does your user login have full permission to CRM.

    4) Goto   C:\crmsdk2015\SDK\Tools\PluginRegistration

    Click on the PluginRegistration.exe.

Once this is open create your connection.

Its important that you can connect to this.

I have done all of those tasks and it does not work. I can use the plug-in registration tool to register plug-ins and I can open a Dynamics 365 Package project in VS2015 and connect it to my organization  I can add a plug-in project to the solution but I still get an error when I try to create the plug-in using the CRM Explorer window

Please don't ask me why you need this.

Do a right click on the plugin project.  Then select properties.

    1) Select Signing

Click check box Sign the assembly.

Then create choose a strong key.

    Without a password.

    Save build and try again.

Thank you for your help, I tried your suggestion and it's still returning the same error messages. I know that I was able to do this without issues before Dynamics 365 was updated to version 9.

I tried updating SDK references to version 9.0.0.7 , but I'm still getting the same error messages. Am I the only one experiencing these issues ?

I do understand your frustration.  I took me a week to get my setup working.

Here what I would do.  I am using on-premise.

    1) Down load this link.  https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=44567

create a new folder on your c:\crmsdk2015

    2) Goto C:\crmsdk2015\SDK\Tools and click on PluginRegistration ,exe

    3) Connect to you crm and make sure this is working.

    4) Create a new solution.

    5) Make sure the project is pointing to

    2678.AssignKey.JPG

    6) Create the key

    Please uninstall the guGet first
