When trying to view old transactions I get the following error "The stored procedure create Tmp Table returned the following results: DBMS; 12, Microsoft Dynamics: 0."

What causes this error and how can I avoid it in the future? Is there a maintenance function that needs to be run periodically? This is all for GP 9.

Have you tried having all users exit GP and then stopping and starting the SQL Server? If there is an issue with temp tables this will clear them up.

Unfortunately this is not the issue as it occurs whenever I do any inquiry window, not just on a specific transaction.

This error probably occurred due to the duplication of transaction, e.g. if the same transaction exists in Open and History tables then this error would raise.
