Inventory Item journal post error

Dears,

When I try to post my item journal there is a error showing: "A fixed application was not unapplied and this prevented the reapplication. Use the application worksheet to remove the application".

I do not understand what I should do to post the item journal.

Is exact cost mandatory in your setup, please check that first.

Check Applies-to Entry field; it looks like during the posting NAV tries to make application, but the quantity of items is not enough. Check this: msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh168223(v=nav.90).aspx

How many lines do you have in your journal?

This clearly indicates that, you are trying to apply the Item Ledger Entry, which has been already consumed or quantity is not sufficient.

Check the Item Ledger Entry No. selected in "Applies-to Entry" field at Item Journal and see the Remaining Quantity against that particular ILE V/s Item Journal Quantity field value.

You need to adjust the quantity accordingly or choose the right "Applies-to Entry" number in the journal.

    Hope this helps.

I have found that the stock keeper entered same item with different quantities in two lines  , in one document. That is why it was having error. I deleted one line and entered with sum amount and its ok to post now. Thank you guys for suggestions.
