How can I put a Production instance of D365 CRM into Maintenance mode?

Posted on by 30

I need to perform maintenance in my D365 CRM online production instance over a weekend.  This maintenance requires that all plugins and workflows be turned off, and it is therefore vital that end users not be able to transact in the system during this time period.  How can the Production instance be placed into a 'maintenance mode' or 'administration mode' for the duration of the maintenance window?

    Hi,

Refer below. You may need to first change the instance from product to sandbox.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../manage-sandbox-instances

    Hope this helps.
