Emails sent through Dynamics is not creating a case in the Queue

Posted on by 95

I have created a queue in dynamics to auto create cases. When I sent an email in Outlook it creates a case to the mailbox just fine. But when I use the Email Activity in Dynamics to send an email to the same mailbox it doesn’t create a case. Any advise on how to create a case from emails sent even in Dynamics.

    Hi Jazmine,

Since the Record Creation and Update Rule does not work for emails activities created inside D365, we have to create a power automate to do it.

Go to https://make.powerapps.com/, select the D365 environment, new a automated flow.

Then set the flow as follow.
