Dynamics CRM 365 Online http Webrequest Interruption

I am calling an rest API which is triggered by a custom workflow. I have no problem on-premise CRM 2016 to run custom workflow and getting the response from the API. However When I try it On Dynamics CRM 365 Online http request is interrupted. When I debug it on Plugin Register Tool, it breaks debug mode and gives no error message.

    I'm not aware you can change the timeout parameter. If your service takes to long to process or to respond you might want to consider a different architecture. E.g. putting a message in a queue and have a job (Azure Function) pick up that item in the queue and call back to CRM. In that architecture you are not dependent on timeouts in CRM.

    I have enabled logs but there is no specific error description. Interestingly the workflow calls the API is working properly today. I think it is a timeout issue related with network. Is there any chance to change the timeout parameter on Dynamics CRM Online.

    Any chance you might hit a timeout? Did you enable tracing and could you find anything in the trace logs?
