When you link a bank account does it automatically show up on balance sheet or do I need to create a charts of account for that bank account?

I have both my business checking and credit card link but I don't see them on balance sheet? Are they suppose to not be there? New to D365 and trying to learn basics/

Hi,

Bank account cant be seen in balance sheet, instead you need to link the bank account to a main and then any postings will show up into that main account of balance sheet.

You can go to cash and bank management module and create a new bank and from there add the main account.

We have D365 business central. Does that matter? I don't where I can add main account to new bank.
