Enable/disable "Qualify" button in MS Dynamics CRM 2016

I created a business process flow (BPF) that connects the lead to the opportunity and the opportunity to a survey. Also created the workflows for each part of the BPF. But when I test it to see if it is functioning correctly, the button "Qualify" is not working. I can create a record of lead and a record of opportunity individually, but one does not transitions to the other.

- Can you help me by sending a step by step to customize it?

- What do I have to be aware in enabling it?

I'm not sure if I missed a setting when creating the entities that does not permit me in continuing the process.

Thank you,

Raiza

    Patient Registration = Leads

    Appointment Process = Opportunity

    Patient Management = Case

In the second stage, have you selected the 'Relationship type' to be originating lead?

if not, it is required to connect lead & opportunity and similarly for case

I do have the relationship type to originating lead in the second stage of opportunity.

BPF-relationship-type-_2D00_-patient-management-_2800_no_2900_.PNG or BPF-relationship-type-_2D00_-case-_2800_no_2900_.PNG Either the entity is Patient Management or Case, in both I don't have the option to select a relationship type.

You wrote that "Qualify" button does not work. So when you are on Lead and first stage and click Qualify - what exactly happens? Is opportunity created or not?

The Qualify button appears in the lead record when is open but, when I click it doesn't do anything. The opportunity is not created from the lead

I am trying to send a video demonstrating the problem but I am having trouble uploading it in the comments

    Hi Raiza,

Not sure if you figured it out but the "Qualify" button won't work if the "Company Name" field is taken off the Lead form being used. You need to keep it on the form but make it non-visible if your business process doesn't require it.

I am having similar issue. Qualify button was working on Monday. Then, on Tuesday, when all I did was add an additional Dup Detection Rule, it stopped working for IF it was a Duplicate. It worked IF it was not a Duplicate. Now, Wednesday, the Qualify button does not work at all any situation, even if all Dup Detection Rules are unpublished.

I also have no dev on the form and do have a Lead to Opty Sales Process.

      1. I do have the Relationship Type = Originating Lead on Second Step

      2. I do have Company Name on Lead Form

    Any ideas?

The only resolution I've seen so far is to recreate the form.
